Shory (“Shory”), a leading AI-driven insurtech firm in the region, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sheel, a leading provider of integrated mobility and leasing solutions in the UAE and a subsidiary of EasyLease. The agreement will explore opportunities to collaborate across mobility and insurance, including potential integration of services such as vehicle leasing, car rental, and fleet solutions into Shory’s broader customer ecosystem.
The MoU was signed during the Make it in the Emirates (MIITE) 2026 event, a platform that brings together national companies to foster collaboration and accelerate the development of future-ready industries.
The collaboration aims to assess how mobility services can complement digital insurance, creating a more connected and practical customer experience aligned with everyday needs.
“This MoU reflects our vision to evolve insurance into a more connected, customer-centric experience. Mobility is a natural extension, and our collaboration with Sheel allows us to explore more seamless, relevant solutions for our customers, while reinforcing the value of partnerships emerging from MIITE,” said Aoun AlSmadi, CEO, Shory (UAE).
Bashar Sameer, Managing Director, Sheel, said: “As a provider of vehicle and roadside services, we work closely with customers throughout their driving experience. This MoU allows us to explore how we can better connect our services with Shory’s digital platform, making it easier for customers to access roadside assistance in a simple and timely way.”
The MoU reflects a shared intention to explore collaborative models that enhance customer experience while supporting the UAE’s broader vision for innovation and economic diversification.
