In celebration of the 54th Eid Al Etihad, Shory is pleased to introduce this offer, giving users the opportunity to enjoy exclusive redemption benefits, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires:
- “Shory” means Shory Insurance Brokers (Sole Proprietorship- LLC).
- “Campaign” means the promotional redemption campaign launched by Shory as a gesture of appreciation on the occasion of the UAE National Day (Eid Al Etihad), offered for eligible insurance products as determined by Shory during the campaign period.
- “ User” means any individual who participates in the Campaign through the Shory App.
- “Shory app” means the mobile application owned and operated by Shory.
- “User Account” means the electronic account available to the User within the Shory App where the Credited Amount are credited for the purpose of this campaign.
- “Eligible Policy” means any insurance policy designated by Shory as eligible for this Campaign.
- “Credited Amount” means the amount added by Shory to the User’s account for the purpose of this Campaign, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Scope of the Campaign
2.1 The Campaign is introduced by Shory in celebration and appreciation of the UAE National Day and applies only to Eligible Policies and only for Users who meet the eligibility criteria set out in these Terms and Conditions.
2.2 Under this campaign offer, an amount of AED 54 will be added to the registered accounts of all new and existing users within the Shory app.
2.3 The Campaign is a promotional offer by Shory for its current and new users and does not amend or alter the insurance premium, coverage, or terms of the insurance policy issued by the insurer.
3. Eligibility
3.1 To be eligible to participate in the Campaign and receive a Credited Amount, the User must:
(a) download and register on Shory app before 5 December 2025,
(b) hold a valid, registered account on the Shory app, and
(c) purchase an Eligible Policy through the Shory app.
3.2 Shory reserves the right to verify the User’s identity, registration status, and policy details before granting any Credited Amount.
3.3 The Credited Amount will also be credited to Shory’s current active users accounts.
4. Redemption Mechanism
4.1 By accepting or participating in the Campaign, the User agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions and acknowledges that failure to comply may result in the loss or forfeiture of any Credited Amount.
4.2 The User will be eligible to redeem a specified Credited Amount per policy, as determined by Shory and communicated as part of the Campaign.
4.3 The Credited Amount is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
4.4 The Credited Amount may be used only in the manner and for the purposes allowed within the Shory app
4.5 Credits may be used a single time per user.
4.6 This campaign offer applies only to individual users and does not apply to commercial accounts, corporate accounts, or fleet vehicle accounts.
4.7 This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount, or campaign.
5. Campaign Period and Expiry
5.1 The Campaign starts during November and ends on the 5th of December 2025. The Credited Amount shall remain valid until 31 December 2025, unless withdrawn or extended earlier at Shory’s sole discretion. It is launched by Shory in connection with the UAE National Day as a time-limited appreciation initiative for its Users.
5.2 Shory may, at its sole discretion, specify validity periods or expiry dates for Credited Amounts credited to the User’s Credit account. Any unused Credited Amount after its expiry may be forfeited without compensation.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Shory acts as an insurance broker and not as an insurer. Issuance, coverage, and claims under any policy remain the sole responsibility of the relevant insurer.
6.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shory shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or claim arising out of or in connection with:
- (a) any error, delay, or failure in the policy application or payment process;
- (b) any system malfunction, interruption, or technical issue affecting the Shory App or the Credit account;
- (c) the User not meeting the eligibility criteria or failing to comply with these Terms and Conditions; or
- (d) the insurer’s decision to accept, reject, cancel, or not renew any policy.
6.3 The User is responsible for ensuring that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete. Shory shall not be responsible for any consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete information submitted by the User.
6.4 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
7. Shory’s Rights
7.1 Shory reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, withhold, cease, withdraw, modify, or cancel the Campaign (in whole or in part), or any Credited Amount, at any time and without prior notice, including in cases of suspected misuse, fraud, or non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.
7.2 Shory also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline or reverse any Credited Amount credited to the Credit account if it was granted in error, obtained fraudulently, or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
7.3 Shory reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version may be communicated through the Shory App or other official channels and shall take effect from the date of publication, unless stated otherwise.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the Contest or these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
