At Shory.com, we understand that navigating through the aftermath of an accident can be overwhelming. Our dedicated claims assistance page is designed to provide clear guidance for both Shory customers and those who may have been involved in an incident with a Shory customer.

For Shory Customers:

As a valued Shory customer, rest assured that our commitment to your well-being extends beyond the purchase of your policy. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of an accident, follow the steps listed below to initiate a claim promptly. 

  • Login to your Shory account.

  • Click on the ‘New Service’ option.

  • Select ‘File a claim’ on the pop-up.

  • Choose the relevant car and click ‘Continue’.

  • Click on the ‘Claim’ tab.

  • Select the driver; if not the policyholder, simply, choose ‘Someone else’ and provide the driver’s details.

  • Upload a copy of the ‘Police Report’.

  • Pick the claim category: Vehicle Accident, Theft, Fire, or Natural Disaster.

  • Share the preferred bank account details for settlement.

  • Review and confirm the accident details.

  • Submit the claim, and we’ll start the process immediately.

For Non-Shory Customers:

Things to Take Care of After an Accident in the UAE:

After an accident in the UAE, attend to the following specific considerations:

  • In case of minor accidents, when your car is drivable, move your car to the shoulder lane to avoid blocking the fellow drivers. 

  • Report the Accident: Contact the police at 999 (accessible from any location within the UAE). Report the accident, provide details about your location, and await their guidance. It's important to note that any traffic accident in the UAE (minor or major) should be reported. For Dubai and Abu Dhabi, you can use the Dubai Police app or TAMM (for Abu Dhabi) to report the incident digitally.

  • Medical Assistance: Seek medical help at a recognized healthcare facility to make sure the injured receive first aid. Emergency services are available at 998.
