Home Charging:

DEWA Green Chargers – EV Green Charger Initiative:
Launched in 2015, this initiative aims to make Dubai a smart and eco-friendly city. Public charging stations are strategically placed across Dubai to encourage the transition from traditional to electric vehicles. Under this initiative, popular electric car models in the UAE, such as Tesla and Chevrolet Bolt, are supported. With this, you get an EV Green Charger Card service that simplifies monthly billing for charging.
QR Code Scanning:
DEWA introduces a convenient feature allowing motorists to charge their EVs by scanning QR codes. It’s available at 300 charging stations across Dubai, and users can access this service through the DEWA Smart App.

Current Charging Infrastructure in Dubai:
DEWA has successfully installed 300 electric charging stations across the emirate, strategically placed in airports, petrol pumps, shopping centers, offices, hospitals, residential complexes, and other public areas.
